Because those rifles are marketed to parents who want to teach proper gun safety to their children. Because you have to be 18 years old with a crystal clear criminal record to buy a gun in America.
That’s like saying Barbies aren’t marketed to young girls because their parents have to buy them for them, dipshit.
Actually there’s no age restrictions on how old you have to be to buy a barbie.

I remember being 10 years old and buying star wars action figures with money I got from my parents at walmart… by myself.
And actually yes, those rifles ARE marketed towards parents who want to teach their kids proper gun safety instead of letting hollywood and video games teach them.
